On February 16, 2024, we had the privilege of orchestrating a truly magical day for Anuhea and Danny. As our first wedding of the year, it set the tone for what promises to be an extraordinary wedding season. What makes Anuhea and Danny’s love story so special is its longevity and depth. Having been together since middle school, they celebrated their remarkable 13th anniversary the day before exchanging vows. Walking into the venue, one could immediately sense the overwhelming love and support surrounding Anuhea and Danny. It’s a feeling like no other to witness such genuine affection and to be welcomed into the heart of their special day. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the incredible team of vendors who played a pivotal role in bringing Anuhea and Danny’s vision to life. From the enchanting venue provided by Julep Venue to the exquisite cocktails crafted by Snake Oil Cocktail, every detail was meticulously curated to perfection. The delectable desserts from Kat’s Got Cakes, Tash Bosh Desserts, and Amor Cupcakes added a sweet touch to the celebration, while the savory delights from Sushi Affair and Urbn Pizza delighted guests’ palates. Capturing every precious moment was Wanderlust Creative Co behind the lens, while MarQee Maunakea expertly crafted a cinematic masterpiece to immortalize the day. DJ Sureflow kept the dance floor alive, and JDeanLive provided unforgettable live entertainment throughout the evening. Of course, none of this would have been possible without the tireless efforts of our coordinating team at Godoy Events, alongside the incredible support from Alyssa, Keti, and Alana. Special thanks also go out to the dedicated family members who lent their talents to the occasion, from floral arrangements to handmade candles and even operating a scissor lift for the sweetheart table draping! Godoy Events had the immense pleasure of weaving dreams into reality for one of the sweetest couples we’ve had the joy to work with. Madee, who discovered us through her cousin, opened the door to a vibrant, dreamy vision that unfolded into a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. The Venue: Villa Verano – A Dreamy Backdrop: Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Santa Barbara, Villa Verano set the stage for Madee and Teddy’s dream wedding. With a cascade of stairs leading to breathtaking views, the venue offered a romantic canvas for a celebration of a lifetime. The Color Palette: Bright Pink, Yellow, and Light Blue: The wedding colors mirrored the couple’s joyful spirits—bright pink, yellow, and light blue. The vibrant hues added a playful and lively touch to every corner of the celebration. The Unforgettable Day: The lower level garden of Villa Verano witnessed the heartfelt ceremony and lively cocktail hour, while the house patio, overlooking the Santa Barbara foothills, hosted the reception. Colorful lantern lights strung across the sky, creating a magical ambiance that echoed the joy radiating from Madee, Teddy, and their guests. Personality and Culture:  While we love tradition, we also love breaking them! Madee and Teddy chose an upbeat song for their ceremony procession, ABBA’s Super Trouper, and gave their wedding party tambourines and triangles to play as they danced down the aisle. While guests waited for their turn to jump in the buffet line, we had a live trivia game with facts above the history of love. Each table name was the word “Love” in different languages and Madee + Teddy’s bright aesthetic took center stage in every element of decor. Towards the end of the night, they paid homage to Madee’s Filipino heritage with a Tinikling Dance. Seamless Planning and Coordination by Godoy Events: From coordinating vendors to providing rentals, Godoy Events ensured every detail was impeccable. Napkin linens, floating candles, hurricane vases, the card box, dessert trays, bud vases for cocktail tables, table number signs, and easels were among the stunning rentals that added to the overall charm. Review and Raves: The celebration culminated with another 5-star review and a thrilled bride. Madee and Teddy’s day was not just a wedding; it was a canvas painted with the hues of their love and the collective efforts of an extraordinary team of vendors.
