The Unforgettable Day:
The lower level garden of Villa Verano witnessed the heartfelt ceremony and lively cocktail hour, while the house patio, overlooking the Santa Barbara foothills, hosted the reception. Colorful lantern lights strung across the sky, creating a magical ambiance that echoed the joy radiating from Madee, Teddy, and their guests.
Personality and Culture:
While we love tradition, we also love breaking them! Madee and Teddy chose an upbeat song for their ceremony procession, ABBA’s Super Trouper, and gave their wedding party tambourines and triangles to play as they danced down the aisle. While guests waited for their turn to jump in the buffet line, we had a live trivia game with facts above the history of love. Each table name was the word “Love” in different languages and Madee + Teddy’s bright aesthetic took center stage in every element of decor. Towards the end of the night, they paid homage to Madee’s Filipino heritage with a Tinikling Dance.
