Meet the Founder

Alana Godoy is the creative force behind Godoy Events, celebrated for her intuitive design style, cultural depth, and heartfelt approach to wedding planning. With nearly a decade of experience across weddings, corporate gatherings, and large-scale events, she blends artistry with thoughtful execution to bring each celebration to life.

With academic roots in Cultural Anthropology, Sociology, and Hawaiian Studies, Alana approaches weddings through a lens of storytelling and symbolism. A former Miss Pacific Islander of San Diego and accomplished Polynesian dancer, her work is deeply influenced by heritage, movement, and beauty — resulting in events that feel layered, personal, and emotionally resonant.

After years of performing, hosting, and producing nonprofit and community events, Alana found her home in weddings, where design meets emotion and logistics give way to magic.

From intimate elopements to grand affairs, she is drawn to the power of love stories and the art of translating them into unforgettable settings.

A true creative multi-hyphenate — planner, cultural artist, and entrepreneur — Alana offers a distinct perspective to every event she touches. Whether producing destination weddings, curating deeply intentional design, or orchestrating seamless guest experiences, her clients trust her to craft celebrations that feel as effortless as they are exquisite.
